Memphis, 1996. Marin Alexander had lost every man she ever loved - so she refused to love any more. She avoided men and kept busy with her job at the museum in the Pierce Hall mansion. Until one dark and stormy night changed her life forever... All Marin remembered was swerving her car to avoid an accident - and then waking up outside the bustling Pierce mansion, being carried by a man she knew from century-old photographs! Even 120 years before her time, she felt she belonged around the mansion and Hunter Pierce, the dashing master of the house. But was she prepared to get used to a different society and a new life...and the fact that she was falling in love? Could she leave behind memories of her dead husband and be happy with Hunter?

Loved this book, and I think I got the ending. The two main characters that some didn't realize what happened to from the twentieth century both died, Ryan was dead, and she died when the machine gave the last long flatline beep, leaving her to give up that life and return to the past. One of the best ghost stories I've ever read, if not the best. Beautifully told. I enjoyed every minute of reading this one. This is my first book by this author. I will have to check out others. Vivid description to enable the reader to visualize. B. J. Robinson, Author of River Oaks Plantation and The Belle and the Officer

Lost Yesterday edition by Jenny Lykins Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews

Time travel and ghosts. I really enjoyed the story though at times the author got a little long winded and "cheesy" in the romance department. I also could have done very nicely without the little girl in the story call her grandmother "Gwandma" and the heroine "Mawin" instead of Marin. It was irritating and a little too reminiscent of Elmer Fudd. All in all it was good story with a great ending that I didn't see coming.
WOW!!! It was totally awesome. I haven't read a book that I've enjoyed this much in a while. It was sweet, romantic, funny, and just an all around wonderful book. This author is new to me, but it want be the last of her books I'll read. Buying some as we speak!!!!!!!! GREAT JOB.
I like time travel romance so was glad to stumble on to this author who is new to me. What a wonderful author. I loved the detailed multi-layered characters and the dialogue was fabulous. Conversations between characters flowed so naturally. Very original plot with nice mix of paranormal and time travel romance. Can't wait to read this author's other books.
I like time travel books that could possibly take place. She had an almost fatal accident, finding herself in a different era; however, her body was still in the present in a coma. From time to time, she actually could feel herself being drawn back to the present with the beeping of hospital machines keeping her alive. She had to make a decision where she would spend the remainder of her life, if at all. I would like to read other books by this author.
Simply amazing love story. Could not put this book down. Truly enjoyed every chapter, characters, storyline of this book. Enjoyed reading this book and did not wish for the story to end. Highly recommend this book. Would not be disappointed.
I enjoy time travel stories but this one was a little "hallmarky", if I may borrow a word from my teenage daughter's vocabulary! For this leading lady to be curator of the historical home who's ghost she meets, she doesn't know much about the family that lived there including recognizing faces that are said to be in pictures all throughout the house. In fact when she is living in the past, she seems to know very little about the dress, customs, manners, etc. and she is supposed to be an historian! Parts of it were entertaining but a lot of it got on my nerves because she was so inadequate and annoying. Sorry.
As always Ms. Lykins creates believable plots in what is an unbelievable scenario. The way she is able to spin a wonderful tale is uncanny. Her insights into what would probably be reactions of the characters in unfamiliar territory I find intriguing and fascinating. I had a hard time pushing myself away from the book to participate in other activities. If you like Time Travel stories this is your cup of tea. Any typos are the fault of the transcriber not author's lack of spelling skills. I know because I have read some of her "in print" books.
